A Day of Chaos and Miracles!
Ever been a day in your life when you feel nothing seems to go right? Every single thing proves to be chaos on that day? We (Sunita and I) had a day (to be frank, many days) of such mishaps, but don't worry it is not what it seems, read on to know more,
We, humans very rarely believe the fact that, "Pray, God hears and He delivers". We often miss the little miracles which God has delivered, to answer our prayers, this particular incident from our lives is about those little miracles we don't notice.
It was Monday and Sunita and I took out our car for some work, it as all good, smooth and then the traffic signal came and we stood patiently for the red light to turn green, as soon as Sunita turned the key in the ignition, ~grrrrr, pfhrrr~ the car won't start! The signal is about to go green! The panic that infected us is indescribable. The first thing we did was clear the Dark Energies (to know what are Dark Energies, go here). She tried again but no use, we both asked God and angels for help, we turned to look which vehicle was standing behind us so that we can tell him that the car won't start. To our disappointment it was a city bus and only 10 seconds till green light and if you have ever experienced your vehicle not starting in the middle of the traffic you could sense what caused us panic, groans and shouts from people, People yelling from behind the line "GO ON! Move the CAR!"
We both were expecting this any minute now, but to our surprise none of this happened! The bus driver understood our situation and moved his bus away slowly, other people behind didn't mind and went on without bothering us. Now this is power of prayer, look around you, miracles are happening right now! A simple thought "God please help me, Angels please come to my help now" can change every thing!
I got off the car and went to call the nearby auto rickshaw drivers (Auto rickshaw is 3-wheeler vehicle taxi, famous in India), they agreed to help us, so they pushed the car out of the way to the side, after checking they concluded that there might be no fuel which caused this. But there was enough fuel, but we still thought that we should fill up the tank. They (the drivers) pushed the vehicle to the nearest gas station/petrol pump (which was just few metres away, luckily). We thanked them and gave them some money for their quick help.
Now, did you notice here, we immediately got help because we prayed, we asked God for help and we received it.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
Matthew 7:7
But wait, our day does not stop there,
We filled up the tank and tried to start the car again, ~grrrrr, pghgmhf~ nope, it won't start! We prayed again, in this whole incident, we were praying silently to God and angels the whole time. The attendants at the petrol pump were very helpful, they pushed the car aside. We called our mechanic and he told us he would come as soon as he can (he is a very busy man), but it can take time as he was far from the city. The attendants were willing to let the car be kept till help came.
We headed back home walking, in the evening we decided to go out, see the car and get something to eat as a treat because my brother had his result day and he passed his 11th grade! (woo hoo!). We took out our 2-wheeler vehicle and went to our favorite place Fantasy Bakery, they have the best croissants, if you are in Indore you should definitely try them.
Our favourite is Paneer Croissants, but to our dismay the croissants were all sold out and only Chicken Croissants remained, and we were vegetarians for some time now (guided by the angels to do so). We looked at each other and decided that maybe we should take the Chicken one that day, again asking God to help us in this situation.
We went to the cash counter and then before ordering Sunita asked, "We love the Paneer Croissants, you should have more of these made, they are all sold out" The man looked at us, asked the area we live and picked up his phone and dialled, "Are there any Paneer Croissants left?" He asked.
"How many would you like?" he asked us. Our face lighted up we said three, "Keep 3 croissants aside" he said on the phone. Then he gave us the address of their other outlet, which was not far from our home.
Did you see how this whole day turned out? Wait, there's more,
We decided to stop at the gas station to check up on our car, the attendants now wanted us to move our car because the buses will be coming up soon, we called our mechanic, luckily he was just a few minutes away. The mechanics (Happy and Rahul) came on a motorbike, we wondered how they will tow a car with a motorbike, but they did, quite easily (it's all physics really) and they easily took the car away. We were about to leave the station and we noticed a woman going behind a wall to feed a stray dog and being a helpless animal lover we went on to see her. After meeting her and telling her that she is doing an incredible job we got a call from Happy (our mechanic) and our minds were thinking the same thing, "What now?" he said he doesn't have any fuel in his bike and they had to stop, we chuckled on the irony and on the phone Happy was doing the same, as luck would have it we were still at the station, we told the attendants what happened, they were not able to stop themselves and they laughed as well, all of us involved in this were not at all panicky, we all laughed, they gave us the fuel, we thanked them for all the help and gave the fuel to Happy (we shared some more laughs with them when we met them) on our way home.
During the whole time, there was not one time where we cursed ourselves, God, our fate, the mishaps of the day, none of it. The prayer answered unfolded itself in such a beautiful way that we were taking it as an adventure. The thought that was going through my mine was, "I can cross this off my bucket list, I bet no one had this adventure on their bucket list ever!"
We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on our difficulties
